Alright so basically I've been using the internet on blackberry 9800 for like couple of months after I got it and suddenly the internet stopped working. It is connected to the wi-fi but its not connected to the internet. I tried browsing and it says unable to find the requested server. So what should I do? And I don't have a data plan

Otherwise I suggest you start by checking the Wifi connection from the phone to your router, and the router's connection to the outside world. If that is all OK try restarting the phone AND the router.

05-30-13 05:24 AM Like 0I had a problem with my Bold 9780 near the end of using it when it got picky about connecting to the internet although it would connect to the wifi. When on my home wifi, unplugging to reset my router usually got it working on the Bold again. Can't really do that if you're not on your own wifi though.

I had the reverse problem at a hotel lol. It wouldn't connect to the internet there - I couldn't ask them to reset their router for me. . When I had the problem on my home wifi, it was only the BlackBerry that couldn't get internet - laptop and desktop were working fine. BlackBerry would get to internet once the router was rebooted.
